Coconut Rough Bliss Balls

I always feel overly deceptive calling raw treats in the shape of a ball a protein ball. Sure, there's protein in them, as there is with all plant food, but there is FAR more carbs. Imagine if I called them carb balls. People would FREAK! So instead we'll call them bliss balls. Coconut rough bliss balls. Coconut rough was one of my favourite chocolates pre-vegan and honestly these bliss balls taste SPOT ON - minus all the gross stuff. ;)

What you'll need:
  • Eight pitted medjool dates
  • 2 cups of oats
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp of shredded coconut
  • 2 tbsp of cacao/cocoa powder
What you'll need to do:
  1. In a food processor, pulse together all of the ingredients until well combined.
  2. Take out of the food processor and roll into small balls.
  3. Roll the balls in some extra shredded coconut.
  4. THAT'S IT! Enjoy your bliss balls. They'll store well in an air-tight container for up to a week but I've never known mine to last longer than a day.
